I don't know what pharma company is making the swine flu vaccine, nor who its PR company is, but the buzz built around the flu is quite amazing. It has killed a few people here and there, but, say, how much coverage on female genital mutilation ? I mean, we are talking about more than 150 million victims. 2 or 3 million new ones every year.

We might get a real pandemia, with million of deads, but everyone seems to agree that it won't be this one. Doesn't mean the vaccine isn't effective, nor that the government is trying to inject us with something dangerous. Just a lot of noise around something that isn't such a big issue.

On the other hand, a different point of view on the economic collapse, at least not one you have seen a lot on the zillions or articles written on the crisis. How the stock system has been perverted so it benefits the bank, and avoid any control or safeguards A scheme to flood the market with counterfeit stocks helped kill Bear Stearns and Lehman Brothers... and no one has being caught.

So, my two sources of information today are rollingstones magazine and the comedy central. Fuck, we're doomed.
